FAQ

What is this?

UIUCTF is an annual capture-the-flag (CTF) competition hosted by SIGPwny, the cybersecurity club at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC).

We always do fun themes for our CTF events. If you couldn't tell, it's outer space this year!

What is a CTF?

CTFs are cybersecurity competitions where teams solve hacking challenges to find a "flag," usually a formatted string. Flags can then be submitted to the competition platform for points. The more flags you capture, the more points you get!

Where do I sign up?

Registration will open one week before the CTF starts. Check this page soon!
